tl;dr: Descendant of a historian family from a dying world whose end came before they were expecting... A young woman determined to make sure that the same thing doesn't happen to other worlds in her broken universe.
Her world basically runs on the basis of 'so what if KH with more streamlining'. She might seem like a gentle soul on the surface, but she's been living with the knowledge that her world is going to die sooner rather than later; she's taken surviving its end as the start of a second life that she's going to live to the full, and she's not fazed by a whole lot. She tends to be a bit of an 'optimistic nihilist', and puts on a front of a self-sacrificial hero - she's more scared than she'll admit of having to do that, but it somewhat came with her training...
While she's not rocking any sort of ridiculous key weapon, she comes with a companion - a voidling, an inhabitant of the space between worlds, who can shapeshift into a weapon for her. She also has the capacity to use magic-type powers that come from having a shard of her destroyed world fused with her via reasons.
